Consulting

Winston Wächter Fine Art is a contemporary gallery providing a full range of art consulting services. We offer guidance in developing private and public art collections from the initial consultation to the acquisition and installation of artwork. By utilizing our extensive network of resources, we provide a sophisticated selection to meet our client’s budget, time frame, and artistic sensibility. We work with clients to not only navigate the contemporary art world, but to actualize their vision in building and maintaining unique collections that include works by some of the most renowned artist of the 20th century.

The artwork on display at Topping Rose House is selected and curated by Winston Wächter Fine Art in New York. Featuring works from an array of artists in a variety of media, the collection maintains a strong focus on established local artists who live in and draw inspiration from the Hamptons including Eric Fischl, David Salle, Clifford Ross, Donald Sultan and Peter Dayton. Much like the newly redesigned inn, the art collection draws from both traditional and modern influences. Vintage black and white photographs evocative of Twentieth Century American ideals find their home under the same roof as cutting-edge video installations and suspended sculptures by contemporary artists. Each work at Topping Rose is specifically selected for its location within the inn, and is intended to compliment the space. The pieces found in public spaces like the restaurant as well as in the private setting of the guest rooms are meant to draw attention to the function and design of the areas they inhabit. The collection is an ongoing project that will continue to evolve and change, providing return visitors to Topping Rose House the chance to see new works in the comfort and luxury of the inn.
