Winston Wächter Fine Art is a fine art gallery with exhibition spaces in New York City and Seattle. Established in 1995 by Stacey Winston Levitan and Christine Wächter-Campbell, the gallery’s mission is to present a global mix of contemporary artists with a continuing focus in introducing new voices and highlighting female artists that comment on environmental concerns, including Zaria Forman, Sally Gall and Margeaux Walter.  The gallery provides representation to over forty nationally and internationally known contemporary artists whose diverse practices include painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, and mixed media.  Winston Wächter Fine Art is the United States representative of the Estate of Tony Scherman, most notably known for his series Chasing Napoleon, which was an internationally toured exhibition, and whose first solo show with the gallery in 1999.  Marking a new chapter of curatorial ambition, Alicia Brown, Eric Uhlir, Matt Gagnon and Paulette Tavormina have recently joined the gallery’s program.  In addition to gallery artists, Winston Wächter Fine Art also assists in secondary market placement of Masters of Impressionism including, Claude Monet, Raoul Dufy, Gustave Loiseau, Henri Le Sidaner to Early Modernists including Marc Chagall and Henri Matisse to top Blue-chip Contemporary artists including Damian Hirst, Sean Scully, Anish Kapoor, Annie Morris, Shirazeh Houshiary, Alex Katz, Donald Sultan, Louise Nevelson.

The focus of Winston Wächter Fine Art consulting is on the development, acquisition and maintenance of art collections. By identifying high quality art works which reflect the aesthetic sensibility of the individual collector while providing client-oriented critical guidance and a deep knowledge of the art market, we are able to source top quality works. Winston Wächter Fine Art works with clients to establish their objectives including area of interest, aesthetic taste and budget requirements.

With access to top tier galleries, auction houses and attendance to international art fairs, biennales, and museum exhibitions, we source the most relevant work to offer our clients. Research is conducted to determine value, provenance, condition, critical importance and historical significance of each work considered. Once a specific work is identified, Winston Wächter Fine Art coordinates extensive market analysis by examining comparable works in terms of size, quality, condition and period from both auction and private sectors.

Following the acquisition, we help facilitate all aspects of packing, shipping, installation, insurance advice and conservation. Winston Wächter supervises the ongoing collection management by coordinating the inclusion of artworks in museum and gallery exhibitions and appraisal services for insurance purposes.

The artwork on display at Topping Rose House is selected and curated by Winston Wächter Fine Art in New York. Featuring works from an array of artists in a variety of media, the collection maintains a strong focus on established local artists who live in and draw inspiration from the Hamptons including Eric Fischl, Robert Wilson, Clifford Ross, Donald Sultan and Sally Gall.
