For over twenty years, photographer David Kassman has traveled extensively across continents. In a wide range of locations, he takes photographs of the people and places he encounters.
His photographs both urban and rural communities all over the world. Identity and cultural displacement are two of the strongest themes in his work. His main regional focuses are Africa, Australia, New Zealand, South and Central America, and The Far East.
David Kassman was born in 1971 in Israel. His photographs have been exhibited in galleries and private collections all over the world. He teaches photography at Shankar University of Art in Tel Aviv and has worked with Donna Karan’s Urban Zen Foundation since 2007.
