Winston Wächter Fine Art, New York is pleased to present Golden Hour, a recent collection of paintings by Hiro Yokose. This body of work displays the artist’s expertise in creating serene terrains that dance along the line of minimalist abstraction and traditional landscape. Each of Yokose’s paintings consist of multiple layers of oil paint that are finished with a polished varnish. Hiro Yokose was born in Nagasaki, Japan in 1951 and moved to Manhattan as a young man, where he lived and worked for the majority of his career, until returning to Japan. His works can be found in numerous collections including Microsoft, Boeing, Citibank, and San José Museum of Art.
