Winston Wächter Fine Art, New York, is pleased to announce Platform 2020, a new exhibition featuring the work of 15 current and recent MFA students from programs throughout New York City. This show aims to promote artists beginning their creative career during this challenging time and to lend a platform where exhibition opportunities have been affected as a result of covid. We are thrilled to present this show both physically in our Chelsea gallery, as well as digitally on our website in its entirety, beginning August 6th, and running through the beginning of September.

Working in a variety of media including works on paper, painting, ceramic, and fabric works, these 15 artists have been selected from Hunter College, Pratt Institute, the School of Visual Arts, Columbia University, and The New School. The works presented touch on themes of childhood, resiliency, feminism, and immigration, to name a few.

Platform 2020 includes works by: Susan Chen, Jenna Beasley, John Holland, Madhini Nirmal, Ziping Wang, Lauryn Welch, So Ye Oh, Katie Croft, Maria Duran Sampedro, Alexae Levin, Lizzie Zelter, Renée Estée, Dan Fig, Dante Cannatella, and Talia Levitt.

Winston Wächter is proud to support artistic educational programs and the professional development of emerging artists. We are thrilled to present these exciting new works and to welcome visitors physically in the gallery to enjoy the experience of seeing art once again. The show will open Thursday, August 6th, and be available to view Monday through Friday from 11am-5pm.
