Margeaux Walter created series All Natural during the period of quarantine to express the desire to connect with nature, but the failure that usually follows. Half of this body of work was first shown online in May 2020 and now, a year later, part two debuts online with just as much, if not more cultural relevance. These works bring attention to the disconnection that has been created between humans and nature. Walter does this in a way by creating environments that tread a fine line between fantasy and reality. She uses herself as the characters in these environments and the camera is used as documentation of her experiences. These works are inviting to the viewer and draws them in at first glance with a touch of humor, but creates a staying power with the relatability of each piece.
